Software localization

When localizing software, you need to schedule every single step of the process and coordinate all the people involved: translators, developers, editors, and designers/DTP technicians.
Translation is the most important part of the localization process, and includes the translation of resources, error messages and user interfaces (such as dialog boxes, menus and icons). If necessary, we revise the engineering and the design of the software to ensure that it displays the text correctly.

The approved, localized version of the software and the related glossaries serve as a basis for the second stage of the localization process, relating to online help, technical and manualistic documentation and promotional and didactic material.

We can localize both application software created in the traditional way (which requires the recompilation of the software) – or software using the font management system (Unicode) (which leaves the source code untouched) with practical advantages for the localization process. We can, of course also localize specific software regarding the instrumentation and automation field.
