Software, hardware and security resources

Localin has PC and Mac working stations, connected through an intranet, which use up-to-date operating systems, therefore clients’ projects can be handled in their original format, so as to guarantee maximum compatibility and to avoid problems among different formats.

Apart from the traditional text formats, we also handle the following native formats:
Files from translation memories (i.e. Trados)
Microsoft Office
Adobe PageMaker
Adobe FrameMaker
Quark Xpress
InDesign
Interleaf
3B2
and any format used on the Web and in the CD-ROM field.

Security
We have created an up-to-date antivirus system on every machine and a daily backup system for the filing of projects and translation memories.
